In anticipation of the upcoming holiday season, I personally purchased a new e-reader (e-note) as a gift. While I previously owned a 6” e-reader, its age necessitated an upgrade to a device with a larger screen and enhanced performance. Although I also utilize an iPad Pro with a 13” screen, LCD or OLED displays can cause ophthalmoplegia, making e-ink displays more comfortable for reading books and journals.
Several high-end devices, such as the Remarkable and Onyx, are available in the market. However, there are relatively few devices that utilize the latest Carta 1300 screen.
The Carta 1300 e-ink screen is the most recent black and white e-ink screen, featuring a resolution of 300 ppi.
This device boasts a 10.65” Carta 1300 screen, delivering excellent contrast and rapid response.
Recently, this startup company successfully raised funds through Kickstarter.

The reading experience with this device was quite satisfactory, while the writing experience was quite good.
The battery life is quite long when the WiFi and Bluetooth are turned off. However, when WiFi is enabled, the battery consumption is slightly faster.
I am very satisfied with this device.
